Saw Feeding

The automatic feeding of saws represents an innovative solution to significantly increase efficiency and automation in material processing and logistics for sawing operations while minimizing manual handling processes.

This automation is specifically designed to automatically transport long materials such as metal bars, wooden beams, or plastic pipes from storage solutions like an automated high-bay warehouse, a crane warehouse, or using an Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) system to the saw, and then individually pick them up.

The process does not end with automated feeding – it also offers an integrated solution for the handling and return of remnants.

Key Features

Automatic Material Supply

The robot independently retrieves raw materials from various storage solutions and precisely places them on the saw feed. This flexibility allows for seamless integration into existing production environments.
Unmanned Operation

The ability to operate unmanned enables the entire logistics process to be controlled at the push of a button – from the removal of material from storage to its individual placement on the saw. This reduces the need for manual intervention and increases workplace safety.
Automatic Return of Remnants

A special advantage of this solution is its ability to automatically collect remnants and return them to the load carrier. This minimizes material waste and optimizes the storage of residual materials.
Individual Bar Measurement

Each remnant is individually measured. These data enable precise inventory management and contribute to efficient material management by facilitating the immediate reuse or proper storage of remnants.
Flexibility and Adaptability

Compatible with various types of saws (circular or band saws) and configurable for different material types and sizes, we offer a versatile solution for diverse manufacturing and logistics requirements.
Integration into Existing Systems

With its intelligent control software, the application can be easily integrated into existing production management systems, enabling continuous automation and monitoring of the production process.
